Code of Conduct
I. Private Trade and Employment
The Employee shall devote his/her whole time to company’s work. No employee shall except with the prior written permission of the management, engage directly or indirectly in any trade or business either with or without remuneration during the course of his/her employment with the company.
An employee may, however, undertake honorary work, which is social/charitable/ religious and dose not interfere with the employee’s performance of duties.
Confidential Matters – No employees shall in any way reveal business/technical information, unless authorized to do so. It is the responsibility of every employee to avoid actions that may have adverse reaction on any policy/action of the company.
Gifts from Suppliers/Customers - No employee shall directly accept from any suppliers or customers gifts in cash or kind including any pecuniary advantage/saving weather in india or abroad.
II. Dealing with Company’s Suppliers/Customers
No employee will either directly or indirectly be associated with supplies of goods / material / services to the company.
No employee will have either directly or indirectly any business arrangement outside the ambit of company’s dealing with the company’s customers/agents/suppliers.
Concealment of information with regard to the above will be viewed very seriously by the management.
An Employee will be responsible for the delay of hold payment from customers.
Employee will responsible if the connected vendor not serving same quality as discussed with vendor and don’t take the supplies from vendors.
III. Misconduct
The Following acts will also be treated as misconduct.
Willful insubordination / disobedience either alone / in association with other.
Taking bribes, causing sabotage and willful damage, theft or fraud in connection with company’s work or property.
Giving to the company false information or concealing at any point of time specially information which would forewarn the company about any harm likely to come from individual or competitor.
Habitual absence without leave or absence without leave for more than ten consecutive days or overstaying the sanctioned leave without sufficient ground or proper or satisfactory explanation.
Habitual neglect of work, or negligence.
Refusal to accept any communication from the management.
Acting in a manner intended to bring discredit to the company.
Drinking/gambling/creating nuisance in the premises.
Spreading false rumors or other acts of indiscipline.
Collection without the permission of senior staff of any money within the premises of the company.
Striking work/inciting others to strike to other acts subversive of discipline.
Conviction in a court of law for any criminal offence moral turpitude.
Habitual breach of law of the land or any law applicable to the company or any rules there under.
Breach of instruction for the maintenance and operations of any plant/machinery/department/products/samples.
Unauthorized removal of company’s document/drawing/property/fro place of work.
Giving assurance to any person for providing employment in the company without proper authorization.
Holding meeting inside the premises of the establishment with permission.
Distributing or exhibiting within the premises any handbills, pamphlets, posters or other visible representation without previous sanction from senior staff.
Willful damage to work in process or to any property of the company.
Failure to observe safety instruction notified or interference with any safety devices or equipment installed within the company.
Unauthorized possession of any lethal weapon in the establishment.
Involving in proxy swiping/punching/using other employee’s identity card.
Misuse of Loyalty program by employees for benefits of self and/or others.
Using abusive/threatening/filthy language against any employee or any visitor/client/customers.
Involving in any fights/physical assault in the premises.
Non Adherence of IT/Finance security policy of the company.
Insider trading of securities.
Revealing or sharing of intellectual property and/or information data of company and/or expert knowledge gained during the course of employment with any outsider, during and after the course of employment.
Sexual harassment with include unwelcome sexual determined behavior ( weather directly or by implication ) Such as :- .
Physical contacts and advances or
A demand or request for sexual favors or
Sexual colored remarks or
Showing pornography or
Any other unwelcome physical, verbal or non-verbal conduct of sexual nature.
The list is only indicative and not exhaustive. All Employee’s are advised to refrain from any acts of omission/commission/which could be viewed as misconduct by the management.
IV. Consumption of intoxicating Drinks / Drugs
Non Smoking – Staff members should refrain from smoking and/or consumption of intoxicating drinks/drugs in the offices/during the office time meetings premises.
Company Property/Equipment – All property of the company entrusted to the employee during the course of his/her employment shall be returned in goods condition, on separation from the company, as directed by the management.
Personal Grooming and Dress Code – All employees are expected to maintain a high standard of personal grooming and observe proper dress/uniform ( if having the company ) norms. Informal cloths (Jeans, T-Shirts, etc.) are unacceptable as office wear during weekdays (Except Saturday) at Home Office and Zonal Office and Official Meetings. This is especially important when an employee is on official tour or is likely to come in contact with suppliers/vendors/clients/customers/dealers.
